研究
　　在这门课程中，我们被要求设计一款手机应用程序，以解决联合国健康可持续发展目标中的许多主题领域之一。我研究酒精成瘾时，发现戒酒者的复发率非常高，特别是在戒酒后的第一年。戒酒社区中的几条经验法则可以帮助成瘾者避免再复发并保持清醒，但是需要他们较强的自律能力。道德支持和周围朋友的帮助对于戒瘾十分关键。

设计过程
　　设计过程从最初的一系列粗略草图开始，以探索、研究出应用程序的核心功能。随着每次的迭代，草图融合了快速和非正式测试的研究学习，变得越发精炼准确。最终用sketch 和invision软件将纸质草图转换为数字原型，并进行迭代和可用性测试。
　　这个项目的主要局限是无法接触到目标用户组的人群。这些特殊人群有着非常特殊的需求。每做出一项设计决策，我都尝试了解它将对这个弱势群体有什么道德影响，并在鼓励和尊重之间、在责任和赞同之间取得适当的平衡。在未来更多的时间里，我希望能进一步探索这些问题。

Triggaware is a mobile app designed to support recovering alcoholics avoid their addiction triggers and stay accountable to a sober buddy. It assumes that the user is also receiving professional treatment for their addiction, and is only intended as a supplement to support them on this journey.

ResearchFor this course, we were asked to design a mobile app which would tackle one of the many topic areas within the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals for Health. In my research on alcohol addiction, I found that the relapse rate for recovering alcoholics is extremely high, especially in the first year of sobriety. Several rules of thumb within the recovery community help addicts to avoid triggers and stay sober, but can be a lot to manage on their own. Moral support and surrounding yourself with sober friends is crucial to recovery.

Design processThe design process began with an initial series of rough screen sketches to hone into the core functionalities of the app. Sketches became more refined with each iteration, incorporating learnings from rapid and informal testing. Paper sketches were eventually translated into digital prototypes using Sketch and Invision, followed by further iteration and testing with people.

My major limitation during this project was not having access to anyone within the target user group, which is a very specific group of people with very specific needs. With every design decision made, I tried to be aware of the ethical implications for this vulnerable group of people and strike the right balance of encouragement and respect, and between accountability and consent. Given more time, I would have liked to explore these issues further.
